Specialty Acts

Students performing in a specialty act may wear their regular class costume or a slightly different variation.

Whenever possible, specialty-act costumes should incorporate at least one piece of the class costume to help minimize costume changes between performances.

Other Info

  • No regular classes week of Thanksgiving. Open gym will be offered. Times TBD

  • Aerial at Home - For everyone's safety, students may only perform aerial skills taught by their Inversion Aerial coach, not moves learned at home or online. Each skill has important technique and safety details that must be taught by a trained professional.

  • Aerial Attire - The safest and most effective aerial outfit is a leotard with a fitted long-sleeve top and ankle-tight leggings. Loose shirts can ride up during training, which becomes a safety hazard when students let go of the silks to pull them down.

  • Please remove all jewelry before class.

  • Keep nails trimmed and smooth, as long nails can catch or tear the fabric.
