Welcome Back!
Can you believe how fast this summer has flown by? It feels like we just started our July break, and already it's time to start thinking about getting back into the gym! We're excited to resume classes on August 3, 2026, and we can't wait to kick off what's shaping up to be an amazing 2026/2027 season. Get your leotards ready - we'll see you back on the aerial fabric soon!
New This Year
We're thrilled to welcome two new coaches, Mariana Puig & Christine Kegel to the Inversion aerial team this season! These lovely ladies will be coaching our Level 3 and Level 4 classes, bringing fresh energy and expertise to our upper-level students. Photos and bios coming soon - stay tuned to learn more about them!
Saturday Specialty Act Class
Our Saturday Specialty Act class is back this season, open exclusively to Level 3 and Level 4 students. This class focuses on independent and group routines on unique apparatuses, giving students the chance to explore creative choreography beyond their regular curriculum. Run in an open-gym format, each session begins with a structured strength-building warm-up before students dive into their routines.
Classes begin September 12 with the following schedule:
Level 3: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Level 4: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Level 4 students will have some overlap time with Level 3, plus dedicated one-on-one time with their coach from 12:30–1:00 PM to focus on advanced skill development.
Welcome, New Students!
A warm welcome to all of our new Intro students joining the Inversion aerial family this season! We're so excited to have you and can't wait to watch you grow as aerialists. We'll be holding a welcome meeting to go over all the important details of our aerial program, including class expectations, scheduling, and everything you need to know to get started. Details on the date and time will be coming soon, so keep an eye out! Just a heads up — this welcome meeting is for Intro students only.
Save the Date: Fall Aerial Performance
Mark your calendars! Our Fall Aerial Performance is happening on November 14, 2026. For those who are new to the Inversion aerial family, this is one of two shows we put on each year, giving our students a chance to showcase all the hard work they've put into their routines.
Please put this date on your calendar now, and if your student is unable to attend, let us know as soon as possible. Our classes spend weeks building group and individual routines together, and when a student isn't there for the show, it can be a real letdown for the rest of the class who've been counting on them. We want every student to feel supported by their teammates on performance day!
Aerial Class Rules
A friendly reminder of our Inversion gym standards to help keep everyone safe and ensure our aerial space stays fun for all! Please take a moment to review the chart below with your child.

Reminders
Attendance: We are beginning choreography, which is an exciting and important phase of the season. Because choreography decisions are made in real time, students who are unable to attend regularly may fall behind or need to step out of the portion of the routine currently being worked on.
Aerial Attire - The safest and most effective aerial outfit is a leotard with a fitted long-sleeve top and ankle-tight leggings. Loose shirts can ride up during training, which becomes a safety hazard when students let go of the silks to pull them down.
Please remove all jewelry before class.
Keep nails trimmed and smooth, as long nails can catch or tear the fabric.
