It's SHOWTIME!


We’re just a couple of weeks away from the big night. How exciting! Please double-check that your dancer has all of their costume pieces ready to go.


To help students get comfortable, we ask that they practice in full costume for one rehearsal only. This helps keep costumes fresh for the performance.

Important Upcoming Show Info

  • Our show, "Icons: A Musical Journey Through Time", is Saturday, November 15

    • Students arrive @ 3:30 PM

    • Dress Rehearsal @ 4:00 PM

    • Doors open @ 5:30 PM

    • Show starts @ 6:00 PM


Hair and Makeup Guidelines

  • Hair should be tied back in any style you prefer.

  • Hair accessories are welcome, as long as they don’t dangle or distract.

  • Makeup may be worn to match costume colors.

  • Lipstick is fine, but please avoid shiny or glossy finishes.

  • 🚫 No glitter of any kind, please!

  • Level 3 & Level 4: Hair details will be discussed in class.

If your child is trying a new hairstyle, we recommend practicing it in class so it’s comfortable on show day.


Extra Practice Sessions

To help everyone feel confident and stage-ready, we’ll be holding extra practices for:

 

  • Level 1A, Level 1B, Level 2, and Level 3 - November 7 & 14, 5:45–6:45 PM


  • Level 4 - November 4 & 11, 6:30 - 8pm


If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so as soon as possible. Need the link? Just ask at the front desk!


These practices give students a chance to settle into their routines and get familiar with how the show will run. Encourage your dancer to watch and learn from other groups—they gain so much by seeing different levels perform!


Other Info


  • No Intro Class on Friday, October 31 – Enjoy your Halloween festivities!

  • Level 4 class meets at 1:30 pm on Friday, October 31 

  • No Regular Classes November 26–28 during Thanksgiving break

  • Open Practice will be offered on Wednesday, November 26. Sign-up info will be sent out soon.

    • Intro, Level 1A and Level 1B 3-4 pm

    • Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 4-5:15 pm

  • Christmas Break Schedule – Exact dates will be announced soon so that you can plan for the holidays! Saturday 

  • Saturday Specialty Act/Technique Class will be paused for the months of December and January.


Jewelry and Nails Reminder

To keep everyone safe and protect our beautiful silks:

  • Please remove all jewelry before class.

  • Keep nails trimmed and smooth, as long nails can catch or tear the fabric.

These small steps help ensure our silks stay in excellent condition and that students stay safe while working together during partnering.
